Tami Killough grew up in Winters and at North Runnels Hospital. She started making rounds at the hospital with her dad at age 4 and is proud to still be making rounds here today. She graduated as a Winters Blizzard and then went on to get degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and Angelo State University. She has experience in Pediatrics, Family Practice, Geriatrics, Intensive Care, and Emergency Medicine. Tami has often expressed that being able to care for the community that has been so special to her brings her joy. She has been with North Runnels Hospital District since 2014 and treasures the relationships she has made with her patients.
Tami is married to Brandon Killough and they have 3 children – Morgan, Canyon and Parker. She grew up in a ranching and medical family and has continued the tradition. When not at NRH, she can be found working on the Mesa T Ranch – with the horses, if she has her say. She also actively gives back to her community by volunteering in numerous community events and organizations.
Tami views her approach to healthcare as collaborative. She ensures that you have the knowledge and recommendations that let you choose a course of action that will work with your lifestyle – and still achieve healthy outcomes. She feels honored to serve the North Runnels Hospital District and looks forward to helping you boost your health.
