North Runnels Hospital District is located in Winters Texas and was founded in December 1972. North Runnels Hospital District is a fully accredited 12 bed critical access hospital serving all of Runnels County and the surrounding areas. North Runnels Hospital District offers a 3 bed full service Emergency Department which is in pursuit of Level IV Trauma Designation, along with a variety of Inpatient and Outpatient services. Some of the services offered are: Ultra Sound, CT, Lab, X-Ray, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Wound Care Services, Medicare Swing Bed Program, EMS, and Home Health. North Runnels Hospital District is comprised of the Hospital, Rural Health Clinic, Home Health, NRH EMS and Winters Health Care & Rehabilitation nursing center, we have a highly qualified, dedicated, caring team of providers and health care professionals that are always here and willing to help to meet the needs of all patients. We are a Small Hospital with a BIG HEART.

Effective March 24, 2021
1. Non Covid patient’s may have visitors listed on their chart. Only 1 visitor may visit at a time. Visitors must be named and listed upon admission.
2. Covid patient’s will continue to not have any visitors unless they are on Hospice/End of life – comfort care.
3. ER patient’s will continue to have no visitors unless – they are a minor under the age of 18. Minors may have 1 Parent or Guardian visit at a time.

If you have any of the following conditions, please call your provider for an appointment:
  • Fever, cough and/or shortness of breath
  • In the last 14 days, you have traveled to an area where COVID-19 is widespread
  • In the last 14 days, you have had close contact with a laboratory-confirmed positive of COVID-19 or someone who is under quarantine for suspected COVID-19

If you have any of the conditions and need to see a provider, call North Runnels Clinic at 325-754-1317 and a provider will see you through the drive through area.
